Overview

The 2011 Mitsubishi Endeavor is a spacious, stylish, capable and well-equipped five-passenger luxury CUV with a 225-horsepower, 3.8 liter V6 engine, Bluetooth and an available navigation system. It comes in LS and SE trims. Since its introduction in 2004, the Endeavor has been a solid choice of many, combining the elevated seating position and hauling ability of a traditional SUV with a smoother, more car like ride and a remarkable fuel mileage. Both the trims are available with either front- or all-wheel drive.

Power and performance

A powerful 3.8-liter V-6 engine that churns out 225-horsepower and 255 pound-feet of torque is standard on the 2011 Mitsubishi Endeavor. The front-wheel-drive LS and SE models achieve 15 mpg in city and 21 mpg on highway, while the all-wheel-drive SE gets 15/19 mpg city/highway. When properly equipped, the all-wheel-drive Endeavor can tow up to 3,500 pounds.

Body and styling

Auto-off headlamps with Daytime Running Lights, intermittent rear window wiper/washer, chrome grille surround, tinted glass and rear-tinted privacy glass are among the standard exterior features. A power sunroof is optional on the SE. Air conditioning with manual climate control, sport-touch steering wheel (SE) with mounted controls, power windows and door locks, cloth fabric (LS) and power leather eight-way adjustable driver's seat with dual height and lumbar support (SE) and 60/40 split fold-down rear seat back are among the key interior features. A 140-watt CD/MP3-compatible audio system with six speakers is standard on the LS while the SE comes with a 650-Watt Rockford Acoustic Design 6-CD/MP3 Premium Audio System, sport-wrapped steering wheel and shift knob and a three-month, prepaid subscription to SIRIUS Satellite Digital Radio. DVD - Navigation system with touch screen LCD display and rear back-up camera is optional on the SE. With the folded down seat, cargo capacity of 40.7 cubic feet increases to 76.4 cubic feet.

Safety Features

Dual-stage front SRS airbag with front passenger occupant sensors, side and curtain air bags with roll-over protection, Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS) with EBD, Active Stability Control (M-ASTC), Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS), three-point seatbelts and headrest for all occupants, Anti-Theft Alarm System and LATCH System (Lower Anchor and Tethers for Children) make the 2011 Mitsubishi Endeavor safe and secure.
