The 2009 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution is offered in GSR and MR trim levels. Both the trims are powered by a 291-horsepower, 2.0-liter MIVEC Inline four-cylinder engine. The GSR engine is mated to a five-speed manual gearbox, while the MR model is fitted with Mitsubishi's new six-speed automated-clutch manual transmission operated through metal paddle shifters. Power is transmitted through an all-wheel drive system.
